Revisions of the screws
A screw can be overhauled as new, by welding the helical and subsequent polishing, heat treatment and grinding. However, the core of the vine must be in good condition, as it cannot be revised. According to the type of polymer transformed, welds with different resistance to abrasion and corrosion are recommended , both on screws with nitrided and hardened material.

Revisions of cylinders
The cylinders can be overhauled using two technologies: bushing or widening of the internal diameter.
REVISIONS USING BUSHING
If the wear is present only in the terminal part (in the stroke area of the push rod valve), a revision can be carried out by means of the bushing . This quick and inexpensive solution allows you to keep the nominal diameter of the cylinder.
REVISIONS BY ENLARGEMENT
If the wear is constant along the cylinder, it is possible to carry out a revision by enlarging the diameter . This solution must obviously be associated with a revision of the screw (which must necessarily be welded to a diameter consistent with that of the enlarged cylinder), and with the supply of a tip suitable for the new diameter.
The staff and complete equipment of the assistance department allow you to dismantle any laminating unit quickly.
A latest generation pyrolytic oven allows the components of the plasticizing unit to be cleaned from plastic residues, in compliance with the most advanced environmental regulations.
Complete checks are carried out on the customer’s components, to verify the state of wear and to detect any problems. These checks can also be carried out on customers’ premises by qualified personnel.
The overhaul of the laminating units responds to the need for cost containment and speed, but at the same time requires solutions capable of guaranteeing optimal performance.
