Tips

The tip is a key component and the one most subject to wear in the plasticizing unit. Its tightness ensures proper material flow and repeatability of the process.

Le most relevant features Are:

The most traditional and versatile, consisting of body, valve and washer, ideal for any kind of molding.

Solution that contributes to improve mixing and dispersion Of dyes without loss of pressure.

Ideal solution for screws with large diameters (usually from d.80 mm) as it provides better locking, as well as helps the screw-tip assembly hold in place.

Design in which the valve rotates together with the tip over and move on the horizontal axis since it is clamped between the fins of the tip itself.

Design that allows greater control over valve closure, faster and more accurate, suitable for applications with very fast cycles or excessively liquid polymers.

Materials

The tip body is constructed of 1.6510 material with carryover on the fins in BoroTec 10009, while the valve and washer are made of hardened steel. This solution however standard is versatile and adaptable even to technical polymers in the absence of high wear.

Tip, valve, and washer are produced from steel synthesized by powder metallurgy. This is the best solution for Ensure greater durability over time especially in those applications involving extreme wear and tear, both corrosive and abrasive.

The tip body is constructed of 1.6510 material with carryover on the fins to tungsten carbide base, while the valve and washer are made of hardened high-hardness steel. The addition of a PVD coating provides an ideal solution for large diameters especially in those Applications involving high wear and tear.
