Bimetallic and nitrided cylinders

Cylinders

he plasticizing cylinder is an extremely important component in the plasticizing process because it must give robustness to all other members of the group, ensuring resistance to high pressures and wear and tear.

Our goal is to meet the challenges of an ever-changing industry and to constantly provide products of the highest quality, using the best steels of European origin (available on the market).

The best materials for the best performance: certified bimetallic cylinders of European origin to ensure quality, reliability and durability under all conditions.

Bimetallic cylinders

BRIXIA PLAST offers a range of bimetallic cylinders covering different wear classes. Using certified raw material produced with state-of-the-art centrifugal equipment our cylinders guarantee high quality standards, distortion- and porosity-free surfaces, and superior durability even under extreme working conditions.

Nitrided cylinders

This type of cylinder is suitable for the transformation of those polymers that do not result in abrasive and corrosive wear. This material requires heat treatment of gas nitriding or ion nitriding depending on use and reaches a hardness of 950 to 1100 HV.
