The route to Industry 4.0...

Brixiaplast’s initial investments in Industry 4.0 date back to the end of 2016, when the company decided to project the acquisition of certain machine tools over time.

On 12 December 2018, Brixiaplast will complete the first step toward Industry 4.0.

To date, the projected Industry 4.0 acquisitions are a digitally controlled lathe with a 3m turnable, a digitally controlled mobile column milling machine with a 3m effective stroke, a digitally controlled milling machine with 8 axes for helicodial milling screws at a usable length of 3m, and a coordinated measurement machine with digital controls and 3m usable stroke.

Brixiaplast still has many projects in the works and it is precisely the strong synergy between Brixiaplast and ongoing research that will allow the company to continue to reinvent itself in the future.

By embarking on this path of innovation, Brixiaplast has taken a big step forward in the direction of Industry 4.0, incorporating cutting-edge solutions into production and optimizing plant management to become part of a new era that will definitively change the concept of production and productivity.
